What is a good aeroTEST track?

The route must be a little over 1 kilometer long. It should be flat and must not exceed 5 meters of altitudes at difference. You should have enough space at both ends to be able to speed up to your targeted performance. Good pavement is an advantage.

Too many trees or a too cloudy sky will affect the GPS signal negatively.

There should be as little wind as possible on the aeroTEST day. The aeroTEST works reliably only up to a wind speed of 5 m/s. In addition, the evaluation becomes more difficult for us and an increased measurement error can occur.

You find tested test tracks on Strava.

You are welcome to contact us if you are unsure if a track is suitable for testing. We will check the track for you based on the GPS data.
