Measurement Accuracy – Measurement Error
By using our method with the Outdoor or Velodrome aeroTEST we provide with every calculation of the results the calculated measurement error in relation of deviation of the tests within one Setup. The used measurement equipment (powermeter type, use of a speed sensor, gps tracker) influence the result.
The quality or accuracy is defined as follows:
0.00 – 0.25 aeroPOINTS = excellent
0.26 – 0.50 aeroPOINTS = very good
0.51 – 0.75 aeroPOINTS = good
0.76 – 1.00 aeroPOINTS = average
greater than 1.01 = poor
The calculated result shows the mean value of the tests within one setup. From this value the above mentioned deviations are taken plus / minus by half.
